Do you want to create a masterpiece?

Do you have a dream or goal? It can happen.

Believe me, because it happened to me.

I have written 4 books, created artwork, and raised a wonderful family and want to help other women accomplish dreams and goals alongside their happy family.

Three powerful tools that helped accomplish my goals, can work for you as well, are the following:

1- prayer,

2- log your hours, and

3- get an accountability buddy.

God cares about you and He cares about what you care about, including your dreams and goals.

Matthew 7:8 says: “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

God wants to be invited to be on your team. Ask Him for help and He will send the assistance you need. Talk to him like a friend and tell him what you want.

Whether organizing a room or writing a book, logging your minutes or hours can work miracles for you to attain your dream. Use the free Bubble Blotter to track your weekly time and watch your creation come to life! I wrote or painted 20 hours a week and in a year and a half The Lost Mermaid was done.

One last tip is to get an accountability buddy. You can tell this person your dream to and they won’t laugh or mock you. Check-in with them daily or weekly about your goal and ask them to help you not give up. Be reciprocal, so it’s a win-win, in the relationship somehow, even if it’s just a simple compliment.

Remember, prayer, tracking your hours, and a buddy can bring miracles into your life to help your dreams come true.

Your friend,
Krystal Meldrum

Krystal Meldrum

I have always loved to draw and paint, but I was the eldest child in a family of 11 children so I often needed to put my art aside and help my family. When I went to junior high and high school I was ready to learn how to become a real artist, but I didn’t get the fundamental tools I needed.  I felt like a bird in a cage that couldn’t give voice to my artistic dreams. I married my high school sweetheart Jeremy Meldrum and graduated from BYU with a BFA in Illustration. Finally, when I finished college I had the tools I needed to create!

Once again I put my art dreams on a shelf for 15 years so I could raise my own 6 children.  I am the proud mother of 1 daughter and 5 sons.  I kept my creative self alive all those years by writing in 20 different journals, scrapbooking, and becoming the Organized Queen Bee who teaches moms how to organize their homes and families at www.house-organization.com.  Now that my children are older, I paint 15-20 hours a week.  Finally, my dream to paint has taken flight!  Please check out my art on www.krystalmeldrum.com where prints are available and merchandise are available on www.society6.com/krystalmeldrum
